Development roadmap

Here is a list of regions that the player will conquer throughout the game. This is not a detailed list but a basic outline of what is and what will be. Each region will function much like a separate game within Omnilord, largely self contained and separate from each other. The player will conquer each region and unlock access to the next using a new Avatar of Omni the primordial slime. Each Avatar will have a different approach to conquest than the last, with Anu of the Underneath approaching conquest through mind control of key actors (Similarly to the approach of Overwhored made by OutbreakGames). 

Region 1: The Underneath

The Underneath is a region much like the Underdark of D&D. It is a labyrinthine maze of tunnels caverns and underground oceans and lakes. This region will consist of:

• Four Drow cities competing with each other for resources, prestige, and control.
• An underground glacier with an interesting surprise frozen away for eons.
• A volcanic cavern that leads to the nether deep below.

Anu (an Avatar of Omni the player) will mind control the Drow cities and build a launch pad for future conquests of the other regions.

Region 2: The Nether

The Nether is the fiery volcanic and mystical inferno deep beneath the Neath (Underneath). This region is where the demons that inhabit the Underneath come from and will consist of:

• Several competing demon run city states, each city composed of a separate theme and race.
• Several lava oceans.
• Several corrupt biomes imitating the surface world.

Demon races will include Jinn, Hellhares, Hellhounds, Succubus's and more to be decided.

Region 3: Surface Kingdoms 1

Comprised of several human kingdoms fighting each other as Omni enters the picture.

Region 4: Tropical island chain

Comprised of an elven kingdom at war with its Aztec like lamia foes.

Region 5: Surface kingdoms 2

Multiple human kingdoms vying for control.

Region 6: Fantasy Asia

Kitsunes and Chinese Imperial analogues galore with Centaurian Khanates, oh my.

Region 7: Fantasy Middle East and Egypt

Something, something, cursed by the pharaohs mummy.

Region 8: The Aether

Like the nether but opposite.
